How to find your memorial pages
To find your memorial page go to your account page and click on the “View Memorials” button to be taken your memorial page home.
How to edit your memorial page
To edit your memorial page first mouse over its title to reveal the options, and then click “Edit.”
How to add content to your memorial page
Creating your memorial page is as easy as filling out the form. Fill in the details of your loved one’s life, pick an accent color, add images, and supply the links for videos, donations and other related links, and the gravesite latitude and longitude. Then, click “Publish” in the top right corner and your memorial page will be ready to share.
How to add your Accent Color
You can add your accent color in one of two ways.
Method 1: Click, drag, and adjust the different color sliders to select the perfect accent color.
Method 2: The majority of colors have a digital number assigned to them called a “Hex code.” If you want to select a specific color you can by using your preferred search engine. Type in the name of the color you wish you to use and add the words “hex code” at the end of your search query. E.g. “Kobalt Blue hex code.” This will pull up the hex code.
Copy the hex code, including the # symbol at the beginning. Then paste the number within the hex code box.
How to add images to your memorial page
Adding images to your memorial page is easy. These instructions work for both the Main images, and the Image Gallery.
To add images to either section first click the “Add to Gallery” button.
From there you will see directions that say “Drop files to upload” and a button that says “Select Files.” Either option will have a the same result of adding the images to your gallery.
It is important to remember that all images must be below 1 MB in size. If you have images that are larger than that you will need to reduce their size before they can be uploaded.
How to add videos to your memorial page
To add videos to your site you first need to have them uploaded to the internet. We recommend using Vimeo or Youtube, but other internet video sources like Daily Motion and others are also compatible.
After you have your video uploaded, you need to copy the link, then, go to memorial page and click “Add Row” underneath the Video Links section.
Paste your video link in the box that says “Enter URL”.
You can label your video using the “Video Title” box.
You will know your video is working if you see it appear in the box beneath the url.
To add more videos click the “Add Row” button again and continue the process. There is no limit to the number of video links that can be posted on your memorial page.
How to add links to your memorial page
To add related links to your memorial page simply click the “Add Row” button and then put in the URL and its Label or Site Name.
The Label will appear above the link on the front end.
There is no limit to the number of related links that you can put.
How to add donation links to your memorial page
To add donation links to your memorial page simply click the “Add Row” button and then put in the URL and its Label or Site Name.
The Label will appear above the link on the front end.
There is no limit to the number of donation links that you can put.
How to add the gravesite location to your memorial page.
To add the gravesite location you will need the actual latitude and longitude coordinates of the grave.
You can get the coordinates by opening up your GPS, Google Maps, or other map apps and finding your location while you are next to the grave, or finding the grave location remotely via satellite imaging if you live further away.
Copy the coordinates and paste them in the corresponding section at the bottom of the form.
Your memorial page will automatically populate the “Gravesite Location” tab with a visible Google map widget that family and friends can use, and also request directions from.
Where can I find the QR Code?
The QR Code for your memorial page is in two different areas.
Back end: The first place you can find your memorial page QR code is by going into your account, clicking the “View Memorials” button,
and then clicking “Edit” on your memorial page.
You will see it right under the save options on the right hand side.
Or, if you are on your phone it will be in the second box as you scroll down.
From here you can click “Open Link” to open a new tab with the image of your QR code,
or “Copy” to add it to your clipboard.
The second place you can find your QR code is by viewing your memorial page.
Click the “Links” menu,
and your QR code will be in the left column on desktop and the first option on mobile.
